Penn College Digs Gold Rush Excavator

On Thursday, September 5, 2019, Highway Equipment & Supply Co. hosted the Volvo Construction Equipment (CE)/Discovery Gold Rush Excavator tour stop at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA.

An estimated 300 tour-stop visitors had the opportunity to sit in the cab, pose for selfies, play Gold Rush Trivia for Volvo-branded prizes, and find out how they could enter to win an all-expenses-paid V.I.P trip for two to ConExpo 2020 in Las Vegas and hang out with the Gold Rush stars.

In addition to the Penn College students, faculty, and staff and Highway customers who dropped by the Gold Rush Excavator tour stop, the event received a surprise visit from State Representative Bryan Cutler, who was on a legislative visit to Penn College, hosted by Penn College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour, and accompanied by State Representative Garth Everett and State Senator Gene Yaw.
