Volvo CE added the P7110B and P7170B asphalt pavers to the Lifetime Frame and Structure Warranty program and expanded the pavers' extended warranty so the warranties now come standard on machines delivered on or after January 1, 2019.

The highway-class P7110B and P7170B asphalt pavers feature the Volvo D8J, 8-liter, Tier 4 Final engine with continuous passive regeneration. They also have the industry’s longest hydraulic tunnels, a range of screed options, a four-sensor material flow system, and 360-degree visibility, which adds up to greater quality and productivity at a lower operating cost.
Volvo CE's Lifetime Frame and Structure Warranty includes the track frame and tractor frame for the P7110B tracked paver and the tractor frame for the P7170B wheeled paver. The warranty applies to the initial machine owner and is non-transferrable.
Additionally, eligible P7110B and P7170B pavers now come with a 36-month, 5,000-hour powertrain warranty covering the engine and propel circuit, including pumps, motors, valves, and torque hubs. The P7170B's bogie suspension cylinders are also included.
To further maximize uptime and performance, customers purchasing new P7110B and P7170B pavers can take advantage of a free one-year subscription to Volvo CE's machine-monitoring, fleet-utilization service, ActiveCare Direct®. Volvo CE made ACD available for pavers earlier this year, expanding the service already available on select asphalt and soil compactor models.
