The last week in June, Brownstown Territory Sales Manager Joel Taylor visited D.H. Funk & Sons LLC at their Messiah College jobsite in Mechanicsburg, PA, to see Highway equipment in action.
D.H. Funk is using Volvo A40F and A40 articulated haul trucks and an EC480D crawler excavator for the Messiah College expansion project. According to the school website, Messiah is undertaking $20 million worth of construction projects.
"Several projects are proposed to support the indoor needs of wellness, fitness, and indoor athletics programs at Messiah College, as well as program expansion in the areas of occupational and physical therapies. The proposed order of construction of indoor facilities is as follows: wellness center addition, addition of an auxiliary gymnasium providing two basketball courts and office space, and renovation of Hitchcock Arena to convert it into the new home court for volleyball and basketball."
