With the latest engine technology and features that help to provide a dense, high-quality mat, the CR30B and CR35B are ideal for small-scale compaction projects.
Volvo CE launched the CR30B and CR35B combination rollers at World of Asphalt, adding to its small asphalt compaction line. A fuel-efficient, low-emission engine powers these machines, both packed with features to deliver a smooth and dense mat surface.
Built on the proven platform of preceding models, these next-generation rollers use two compaction methods to produce quality driveways, small paths, patchworks, and roadside shoulders. They use the high-frequency vibration of the front drum to achieve density targets, while the four pneumatic rear tires manipulate the compacted material to ensure mat impermeability and smoothness.
Controlled Compaction
Advanced features to ensure quality, consistent compaction include auto-vibration, chamfered and rounded drum edges, a pressurized water spraying system and separate emulsion tank, and easy water flow rate adjustability. To enhance ease of operation, these machines include a new side console and display, a laterally-adjustable seat, and a sloped engine hood.
Unbeatable Uptime
With durable components and simple maintenance requirements, the CR30B and CR35B promote uptime, and the 79-gallon water spraying system allows operators more time between refills, which can be done at ground level. The hinged hood allows clear access to the engine, hydraulics, fuses, and relays.
Volvo CE offers a range of solutions to optimize machine uptime and reduce operating costs. Tech Tool, MATRIS, and CareTrack® are all available to help you speed up diagnostic time and maintain proactive machine monitoring.
